When fencing with bullies, one tactic is to finesse, cajole,
and, perchance, stall, only to be mauled by such flimsy
and flawed antics. Indeed, reason has lost its reverence in
such a case, where facts face off with futility and struggle
among defiance and hostility. Thereby buttonholed,
men's bellies sometimes become bloated with an
ambivalence, which blocks the heart from a natural
eloquence of thought that ought not to be locked in the
